ASSIRT Software (formerly WealthPoint Financial
Services) has been offering comprehensive practice management
solutions to Australian corporations, dealer groups and
financial advisers since 1985. Beginning as a research house,
ASSIRT initially provided quality financial analysis and
data to dealer groups and advisers for many years before
recognising that developing technology was an integral part
of providing true financial solutions. Motivated by client
needs, we developed ASSIRT Client, Planning, Modelling and
Library. Together these products made the ASSIRT Software suite.
In September 2000, a number of businesses including ASSIRT
Software, Bourse Data and Hotcopper were combined under
the WealthPoint banner and floated on the Australian Stock
Exchange. In July 2001, trading as WealthPoint Financial
Services, we launched a web-based financial planning platform
that transferred the proven elements of our existing software
to the internet and combined it with additional online tools
and content.
Brought back into the SEALCORP fold in 2002 as part of
the St.George group, we examined the direction of our business
and determined to focus on maintaining and enhancing our
existing product set, namely ASSIRT Desktop, Calculators
and Research. Our new name, ASSIRT Software, better
reflected this decision and confirms our commitment to clients.
